Our journey began in March 2021 when Niko Bossinakis, a college basketball player at Eastern New Mexico, started TP4PT in his college dorm room. As an athlete and passionate sports fan, Niko initially compiled Transfer Portal information as an interesting hobby. This simple idea quickly transformed into a one-stop shop where college coaches could easily access recruiting information directly from Twitter.

Within six months, the social media following began to grow by the thousands. Niko’s roommate, teammate, and best friend, Bash Jimenez, noticed Niko’s dedication and constant research on player stats. Being curious, Bash asked Niko and learned what had been built and that numerous college coaches were actively interacting with the content.

Sharing a passion for basketball and wanting to build something special, Bash offered to help. This allowed them to create even more valuable content. This collaboration propelled TP4PT to new heights, garnering over 25 thousand followers and making it an essential resource for a majority of college coaches daily, all while still being active college basketball players.

Today, 4PT has expanded beyond the Transfer Portal to include a significant Junior College site, JC4PT, and covers all facets of college recruiting under the 4PT “4 Playing Time” brand. Over the years, 4PT has grown by adding content creators and staff to better serve the industry. Our mission is to provide meaningful information and bring massive value to college coaches at all levels, as well as assisting players by providing exposure and helping both sides navigate the complexities of the always-changing recruiting landscape.
